Yep, you guessed it right - that is from "An affair to remember" (1957) - in color, no less ... decided to dust off the ole nouns and adjectives and get back in the game...
Its been a busy few weeks, and I'm not complaining... its all good...

Emotions: cathartic (don't make me say more)
Cinematography: majestic
Grandma Janou: charming
Soundtrack: moving
Mann (the hindi remake of this classy movie): cheesy (imho)
Edit 1: Aamir == Cary Grant? Kill me (Can you tell I'm in IT yet?)
Edit 2: Manisha Koirala == Deborah Kerr? Kill me now.
Oh and last but not the least, (for those of you who know what I'm talking about) , Nickie's fiance was Lois Clark?!? Are ya kiddin me.... rofl...

lol! You've hit the nail on the head! He has tried everything from Clark Gable (Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin was a remake of Gable's It Happened One Night) to Dustin Hoffman (Akele Hum Akele Tum was a remake of Kramer vs Kramer) but his Cary Grant try was the worst! In Aamir's defence though, one must point out that nobody is equal to Cary Grant.
@Bollyviewer - I completely agree, nobody is equal to Cary Grant. Oh and I recently managed to get my hands on It Happened One Night and Dil Hai... is but a pale imitation...
