Inspirational pancakes

What are those you ask? well, just some pancakes that inspired me to write this post (*ducks behind table*)... "Wakey Wakey, eggs & bakey", said Booth (in Bones) - only, I wasn't woken up with eggs or bacon (I'm a vegetarian, duh!) or by Booth (double duh!) - I was, in fact, woken up unceremoniously by my darling sis - by phone :-| (don't worry, I still love you hon)

anyways, this post-breakfast post is about pancakes & waffles & all things fluffy... In case someone is keeping track, my idea of a perfect breakfast would be Belgian Waffles with Strawberry Syrup, with OJ to wash it all down... sigh...... I miss iHop - wish there was one close to home...

Anyways, after iHop, Denny's pancakes are a fave of mine - being a vegetarian and all (didn't you read the above lines?) - pancakes & waffles are probably the only breakfast I can have without hesitation...

I just love the smell of 'em.. pancakes/waffles with warm maple/strawberry syrup drizzled on them ... mmmmmm ... Can you tell I am a foodie? (*blinks innocently*) :D

anyways, it was a nice start to my Sunday - I made buttermilk pancakes (surprisingly, my first instinct was to make 'em thin, like dosas) and had 'em with Maple syrup... and now, I shall return to my day...
